Risembool is a rural town in the southeastern region of Amestris on the banks of the Rain River. Though small and relatively isolated, Risembool is well known in the region as a sheep-farming town and chiefly exports wool to be used in the manufacture of military uniforms.

Dublith is the town where Izumi Curtis lives and works. It is located in the southern region of Amestris and like most of the south, boasts relatively high temperatures. According to Izumi, Dublith's main tourist attraction is Kauroy Lake, in the middle of which is Yock Island, the place where Edward and Alphonse learned the meaning behind the alchemical concept All Is One, One Is All after a month of survival training.

A small desert town, once an oasis in a land of harsh heat and sand for the weary traveler, it was ruled by faith and religion but has since been thrown into chaos and is currently under military occupation to preemptively stem an uprising.

Rush Valley is a city in southern Amestris, just north of Dublith. Due to its rapid growth in recent years as the center of Automail production, it is commonly known as "The Boomtown of the Broken-Down". The multitude of automail engineers in Rush Valley cheerfully celebrate their craft and walk the streets in droves, holding automail-related competitions and pushing their wares on unsuspecting passersby.

Germany's great capital is suffering the depression from the Great War, however it is currently attempting a spring back to life and is the scientific peak in Germany.

Manchester is a large city, best known for manufacturing cotton. Though the city itself is rather prosperous, there are a lot of people living in poverty.
